The Other Hiltons

It's a family thing, you wouldn't understand.....

VACAY - What do you think???

Posted on April 10, 2011 at 2:19 PM

Hey, anybody interested in doing a mini-Hilton vacation - maybe a long weekend (4-5 days) in July?  I know it's April already, but surely there's some place we can go that's not too terribly far.  After all, the important thing is being together, right?

We're game. I miss the family vacays. The kids had a blast last year on our vacay with my parents, Adam and Becca. They'd love it again!!

We are always up for fun. Plus, we can always do a weekend here at the Hannum's. We could look at renting campsites or maybe they even rent cabin's at JAck and Lidia's across the way. There are also hotels in Gurnee that you could bunk in at night and shower, etc. Just a thought.

I'd be up for it.... :)

One idea: Lake of the Ozarks for a longer weekend, maybe?? We'd have the Newtons and Miranda & Dave closeby.... Heck, a good chunk of the family could fit in the Newtons' basement for a slumber party on the way to the Ozarks if need be! HA!!

I'm cool with other locations too, but just thought I'd throw that out there because I know they have a lot of options on the lake, and it's somewhere that we deemed drive-able in the past. But, I could be convinced to go most places in the Midwest for a long weekend.
